Website is Back Up and Running

- Posted September 28th, 2021 at 6:23pm
Finally, the website is back up and running! The only thing missing right now is the old news I recently uploaded to the archives page from mid-2013 and back to 2009. I have looked and it says that that part has crashed and should be repaired. So, maybe they will repair it soon, and I will be fully back to business. Right now, I have no news to share. So, until more news breaks, that's all for now.

Glad to see this site back up. Also WKUW 40.1 now has Bein Sports Extra in English on it instead of informercials. It does not have the same programing on it as the Spanish Bein Sports Extra on WCTZ 35.5. This TV has reappeared on WRTN 6.3 after being off the last few months.

Thanks for the comment. I had reported about 40.1 starting to air Bein Sports Extra over on the AVS Forum. I also want to thank you for letting me know about This TV.

Actually on Saturday morning, a Ligue 1 (France) match between Paris-St. Germain and Montpellier was simulcast live on both "Xtras". They have rights to a "game of the week" on Saturdays, with repeats of the matches that day on weekdays. Xtra/Xtra en Espanol had rights to La Liga (Spain) up until this year, when ESPN/ABC grabbed the rights to a "game (or two) of the week" (most of them on ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNEWS with a couple on ABC) but Xtra/Xtra en Espanol still shows some classic La Liga matches.

Glad to see the web site back up back by the way...........with the return of THIS Network to WRTN 6.3, have they installed their new antenna and moved from channel 8 to 17 yet? I rescanned this morning but no signal was detected.

No, they haven't changed channels yet. Although, them placing ThisTV back on 6.3 might mean they are working on it. Then again it might not. They could be just putting that back on the air. They are still broadcasting on channel 8.

All---- MeTV+ just scanned into position 44.6 in our lineup here in Nashville and the program guide lists the MeTV+ programming, but there is nothing there but a carrier signal as of 7:01 PM today, September 28th. I'll keep checking for a live transmission. More here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5XADuSUdx2Q

I don't know what you mean by "carrier signal". I just looked at it, and it's looks fine to me. Could you elaborate on what you saw on MeTV+?

Nevermind. It's coming in fine now that I tried a different way. AirTV Anywhere on the new goofy Sling app for Roku wouldn't work from the guide except by selecting the channel marker down the edge then looking at its schedule. Selecting the show currently playing from the guide just gave a black screen.

I've ben getting 44.6 since Sunday. I'm not getting a guide though. Hawaii Five-O is on now.

Welcome back. Glad it's all back up. I've been getting a lot of DX'ing as of late from Tri-Cities here in McMinnville. Along with my usual 2-Edge. 87 Mile away WBXX station. WLFG WJHL WYMT WEMT

Thank you for the comment. Too bad I didn't receive anything. I am surrounded by hills except towards the NE.

If any of you use Channels DVR on your PC. You can manually map MeTV+. That's what I had to do as well. Especially when channels are new, or outside my market.

Getting Newsy on 28-7 running a loop showing the channel is coming October 4. It’s 480i in widescreen format.

Thank you for letting me know. I saw your comment before I looked at WNPX.

Today is back to business as usual. Those Tri-Cities stations are gone. I am even having issues with WBXX some what. Very odd.
