WUXP 3.0 Update

- Posted November 9th, 2024 at 1:54am
Any one that is interested in ATSC 3.0 (NextgenTV). I have news there with WUXP 30's 3.0 signal. They have gotten rid of the audio only channels and have added a streaming only channel from WNPT. Because of it being an only streaming link, I can't look at it, but here is a snapshot of the channel lineup of WUXP 3.0 below. Until I have more news, that's all for now.

How did you see the channels? I looked in the HDHomerun signal meter app and I couldn't see WNPT-VC and the T2 channel.

The HDHomerun tuner that I used to see those channels is one that has never updated because every time I have tried to update it, it would brick on me. I would have to unplug it and plug it back up in order for me to use it again. Therefore, I think the updated HDHomeruns do not see the streaming online only channels. By the way, I found out that WNPT was a streaming-only channel because of the listing on Rabbitears.info - https://www.rabbitears.info/market.php?request=station_search&callsign=wuxp.

I have been out of town for about 3 weeks while my apartment was being renovated by the management company and now that I am back home, I performed a channel rescan this evening on my ADTH box and my Sony Bravia XR TV set. WNPT-VC ATSC 3.0 channel displays as 8.11 on my Sony Brava XR TV. I live in the Gallatin area and couldn't receive WNPT after they moved to VHF 7. Now I can watch their programming without having to use the PBS app.
