WRTN and WLLC Updates

- Posted August 20th, 2020 at 3:13pm
I have e-mailed Rick of WRTN, and he said that he was waiting on the delivery of both the transmitter and antenna for RF channel 17. That is why WRTN hasn't changed channels from 8 to 17 yet.

Also, I got an e-mail from user jtribb, where he got a reply back from the WLLC engineer that told him, "WLLC continues to broadcast 24/7, albeit at a reduced output level. We are also operating on an interim antenna, which is also impacting our coverage area. Circumstances beyond our control have delayed the installation of our new ch.19 antenna. We hope to have our permanent antenna installed and commissioned in the next few weeks. " So, I want to say thanks to jtribb for the information. Until more news breaks, that's all for now.

Thanks for the information. This explains why I used to get WLLC but lost it when it moved to channel 19. I also lost WRTN when it moved to channel 8. However I get WRTN now on another tv which would not receive it when it was on channel 7. However there is not much on it now. This TV (6.3) is blank with "no signal" on the screen and 6.2 and 6.6 just just blank screens.

I still can't get either of them since the change. With prior network moves to other channels, I wouldn't be watching either very much.
