WJFB New Signal Update

- Posted May 23rd, 2021 at 1:15pm
I just got an e-mail update from my contact. He said, "We had some issues with the input sections to the antenna that have now been resolved. We will be up this afternoon, estimating around 6p." I will post another update when the signal is up and running. Until then, that's all for now.

Thanks for yet another update! Your contact @ Weigel is providing a lot of information…very cool. I am on the Davidson/Wilson County line, and WJFB has been sketchy while in lower power mode. Hoping their new footprint matches or exceeds projections. Long way from when station launched in 1988 on analog channel 66 with Doctor Joe F. Bryant (JFB)

Yeah, not long after they went digital in 2009, I was able to receive it one morning and saw Dr. Bryant sitting behind a desk reading the local newspaper (Lebanon Democrat). That was the news he had on the channel.

I concur with both previous posts. I’m just glad I found this site. I left all social media & stumbled onto this thru Bing. I’ll try a scan this evening when Sunday traffic lessens as trains & heavy truck traffic often affects our signal

This is a great site for information on the local TV market and NashDigie is to thank for keeping us up to date. It was a great resource when stations moved their frequencies during the repack in late 2019, into 2020. Glad you found it.

I wish I’d found it sooner. Would’ve saved me a lot of scans! I keep checking for Digie to confirm “up & running”!
