WDHC-LD Experiencing Problems

- Posted February 23rd, 2026 at 2:10pm
Over the past year, people west of Nashville were not able to watch WDHC 11 (rf 18) because of an equipment problem that begin last February. Since then, it has been off the air. Mr. Forte, one of the owners of WDHC, has been whole-heartedly trying his best to get the signal back on the air. In the following link to an FCC document, he goes into great detail about what happened and what has happened since then. The link is below. Until more news breaks, that's all for now.

Hopefully the tower can be placed in Dickson. I was not able to receive the signal from its current location; due to the terrane. Also, from my location I cannot receive channel 8 unless the antenna is pointed in the direction of the tower.

I get Channel 8 fine, as long as my antenna is spot-on, line of site, with the tower. It's the most sensitive signal of all the channels I get.
