WCTZ 35 and WKUW 40 News

- Posted September 19th, 2021 at 8:57pm
WCTZ-LD channel 35 is now back on the air. It came back on the air at about 10am this morning. Could someone tell me if there are any changes with any of the subchannels? I am just a little too far out to receive it. Right now, I can't receive WKUW-LD 40, but when the rain moves out and it dries up, I maybe able to pick up 40 then. I don't know why it is like that, pick up 40 and not 35. The reason I say that is because 35 broadcasts at 15kw while 40 broadcasts at just 10kw from the same broadcasting antenna. The only thing I can think of is that 35 is one channel away from WTVF's 1000kw RF channel 36 meaning it could be overpowering little 35. That's all I have to say about that.

Also, thank you to some of the members on this website via their comments, WKUW 40 has added 40.5 showing the Classic Reruns TV network. You can find out all about them by visiting their website which you can click here. Until more news breaks, that's all for now.

I too experience the same problem with WCTZ-LD 35. I used to get it receive it fine before WTVF Channel 5 moved to RF36, now picture breaks up in an out. I can receive 40 just fine without any breakup in the signal here in Lebanon.

So far looks like Rabbitears.com is correct on the lineup. Infomercials on 40-1, 2 & 3. Novelisima on 40-4 & Classic Reruns on 40-5. Really like the Classic Reruns channel.

Don't know why, but Classic Reruns TV seems to be gone. Nothing but infomercials on as of last night.

It looks like that their owner, HC2 Holdings Inc., has pulled the network not only from WKUW but from all their stations across the country, because I heard that they did the same thing with their Phoenix station.

I hate to see it go. Thanks for the info.
