WCTZ-LD 35 News

- Posted February 13th, 2022 at 7:32pm
WCTZ-LD is now back to normal power output. Back in October, they had to turn it down to a third of the power because the transmitter fans were damaged. As you can see in an excerpt from their FCC filing down below, they have fixed them. They say in part:

"...the station has replaced the damaged transmitter fans. The station resumed licensed operations as of 10 February 2022."

So, did anyone notice any difference in their reception of 35 since this past Thursday? Let me know in the comments below. Until more news breaks, that's all for now.

Yes it is a big improvement for me....No pixalation at all and a good strong signal....Thanks for pointing this out....It make watching buzzer more enjoyable. Any news on WRTN switching to RF17 yet ? Sure would like to get that station again. Thanks for a great website! Mike

No, nothing new yet, but I am going to try to get an update on it though if I can.

I have noticed their signal has improved a lot. I noticed that it was weaker last fall but thought it must be weather related. It is now back to where it used to be.
