Update on WRTNs Channel Change

- Posted October 4th, 2021 at 6:11pm
I've gotten a new update about WRTN's channel change from RF 8 to RF 17. It's not much, but it's something. I recently received an e-mail from Rick of WRTN. He said, "We have the items ordered. Waiting on a crew to hang it all." So, that is where we are at the moment. If I hear (or see) anything else, I will let you know. Until more news breaks, that's all for now.

Crazy they're dropping their transmitter height, but going up on power. They're LOSING coverage. Weird..... I was thinking perhaps I might be able to get something here in McMinnville. But not a chance.

I wish WTVF-5 had left THIS! network on 5.3 for maximum coverage. THIS! network is one of the last dignets not available in the Nashville market.

There have been some changes to the lineup of stations for WRTN. Channels 6.2, 6.5, 6.6 and 6.7 have been dropped and don't show up. 6.1 is still the Daystar Network, 6.3 is still This network. 6.4 shows old movies and television shows. I have seen old Christmas special there too.
