- Posted October 18th, 2019 at 12:55pm
WZTV FOX 17 and WNAB CW 58 just came on the air with their new channels. WZTV old channel 15 is now off the air. Now, the only one left is WJFB. Stay tuned for that one.

I live in Bellevue with a great aerial HD antenna and two HDHomeRun tuner boxes, but it looks like I can't get WZTV anymore. Rescan does not pick anything up at all. Signal was great up until the repack. Is this a temporary or low-power thing?

Actually, I see in the logs that WZTV did work after the repack (yesterday morning, 10/19) but I had a "no signal" message this morning, did a rescan, and now it's not being detected at all. Any news is appreciated - this is Sunday during football season. :(

Just checked with neighbors via a Facebook group for Bellevue (18.5k members) and it seems others are seeing the exact same issues with WZTV that I'm seeing this morning. Signal gone, rescan detects nothing at all. They say it was fine last night, just disappeared today.

Well, signal is back now. Guess they did some unscheduled work this morning.

It could also be because they are operating at a lower power. Sometimes, the lower powered signals can go out during fog and/or rainy situations.

As far as I can tell from far in the east of the Nashville viewing area, WZTV-17 is still weaker than before; aka still running at reduced power. There are times that I can receive the signal and other times I cannot, but I think that they are not back up to full power on their new frequency as far as I can tell. This is as of the morning of 11/4.

I live in Murfreesboro and still am not able to receive these stations. Used to get them with no problems. Anyone know their status? I'm surprised they have not been more transparent with the transmitter changes.....

Yeah, I thought they would be keeping us up-to-date as well. As far as I know, they are still on low power and height, and there is still no updates as to when they will get done, but right now, I can still receive them here in Smith County.
