News Update - WKUW and WWHL

- Posted March 28th, 2025 at 2:35pm
First, I would like to say sorry for not being on my toes with the news. I may see or hear of an update to the Nashville airwaves and before I know it, time has slipped away. Anyways, here's some news I know about that I haven't posted about here.

WKUW-LD 40 - Two networks have been added to the channel. The Confess network was added to 40.4, while the Nosey network was added to 40.5, but to me, they just look about the same network.

WWHL-LD 27 (RF 31) - For awhile there, this station has been off the air because they had a problem in the past to where they had to go off the air. The FCC only allows a station to be off the air for a certain amount of time which WWHL went past that time and had their license cancelled. Recently, they were ready to come back on the air. So, they reapplied and were regranted a license. Now, they are back on the air. BTW, the reason they went off the air in the first place was because of a tower issue.

Now, hopefully, once news breaks, I will post as soon as possible.

I don't think WWHL-LD is going back on air. The FCC cancelled their license and it is currently inactive on the FCC LMS.

It's already on the air. It reappeared today with the same subchannels it had before.

Oh okay I didn't know it was back up. I guess the FCC let them back on but good to know they're back. Thanks for the update.
