New WSMV and WTNX-LD Lineups

- Posted December 31st, 2023 at 2:20pm
I have just found out about the new channel lineups for both WSMV and WTNX-LD. They are now live. Of course you already knew about WTNX will be 29.2 The365 and 29.3 Outlaw, but I didn't know what WSMV would do about theirs. It is as follows:

4.1 WSMV-HD
4.2 The365
4.3 COZI
4.4 Oxygen
4.5 GetTV

I didn't know what they would do with the channel that was showing The Circle network because I thought since the new networks (The365 and Outlaw) were both being shown on two different channels in Nashville that WSMV would go a different route and show something else. Until more news breaks, that's all for now.

I can confirm that on W14EE-D plays both The365 and Outlaw channels. A bonus also is that WBKO out of Bowling Green, KY replaced the Circle Channel with the Outlaw channel. Nothing else has been added to WBKO yet. I don't know where The365 will be added yet in the Bowling Green market but if it is added to WBKO or WNKY I will know. I cannot get all the other channels at all or reliably every day. The new lineup for WBKO is 13.1 ABC, 13.2 FOX, 13.3 The CW Plus, 13.4 Outlaw, 13.5 Oxygen.

Thank you for letting me know about Bowling Green. I had forgotten they were changing as well.

So 4.6 won't "get" Outlaw? (see what I did there...)

😄 Yeah, I do see, but no I don't think they will put Outlaw on 4.6 though.

I have confirmed that WKUW 40-3 is The365 and 40-6 is Outlaw as well. (I accidently had 40-5 as Outlaw.)

Thank you for mentioning that. I had forgotten that they changed the other day. I think it was either Thursday or Friday, I came home after work and they had went ahead and changed to the preview of the networks.

Question, do I have to manually add the WSMV channels? I did a auto scan this morning and the only station WSMV had is the 4-10 HD channel. I did get 80 channels in total 35 miles south of Nashville.

Firetruck the new channels scan in as 29.2 and 29.3. You would have to go down and look at the channel numbers there to see if they scanned in.

For those of you wondering what will happen to all of Circle's original programming (if there are those of you), it will now be seen on a new streaming FAST channel rebranded as Circle Country. It's available beginning today among the "Live TV" channels of Roku, SamsungTV, Peacock, Xumo, Vizio, fuboTV, Sling, and Redbox.

WUXP 3.0 has reverted back to their old QAM64/256 Modulation. I was going to write them. But they changed it before I did. WTVF is still encrypted. But atleast the QAM256 is more decodable at longer distances now.

Yeah I seen that yesterday but I didn't think to say anything about it. I now get 30.1 and 17.2 at 100% during the day and 5.1 and 17.1 just about 10-15% lower based on the weather.

Just found out that (The) 365 is in 720P HD on 4-2, but on 29-2 it's in 480i.The Outlaw on 29-3 is SD only too.

I seen that on Rabbitears.info. I just hope they incorporate all the channels from WSMV on the repeators. I cannot watch Cozi or GetTV from Bowling Green or Nashville. I have an alternative for GetTV but I only have Cozi on Ku-Band satellite and that is going away soon due to it being distributed through fiber in a few months.
