Nashville Airwaves are A Changing (Update)

- Posted March 9th, 2026 at 1:11pm
Here is some more changes. In the previous post, I said there were two more changes that weren't granted yet. Well, as of today, they are, and they are as follows:

WNSH-LD - changing from 9 to 3 and moving from a tower next to the Jefferson St. Bridge (east bank) to a tower on Franklin Road near Lebanon - Location and Broadcasting Range

W35DZ-D (3.0) -> W04EB-D (3.0) - changing from 35 to 4 and moving from the tower near Monterey that houses WCTE 22 Cookeville to the same tower as WNSH's new tower (the one on Franklin Road near Lebanon) - Location and Broadcasting Range

These two not only will be using the same tower but will also be using the same antenna. Until more news breaks, that's all for now.

So the whole point of letting W35DZ be ATSC 3.0 just got wasted for no reason. They're moving it to Lebanon and making it RF 4. Making it impossible to receive even with a decent antenna.

WDNZ-LD is moving to WNKY's tower in Smith's Grove and decreasing power to 2 kW. I might be able to get it once it moves but it has most power towards the sides of its contour.
