Now, what I mean about the title is that lately here for a while with the FCC, they have been having a freeze on any big changes with low power stations, but this past January, they lifted that freeze for about a month. In such time, a lot of low power stations had applied to make changes. Here are a few of the changes listed below.
W18EW-D -> W22FQ - changing from channel 18 to 22 and moving from the Jackson, TN area to the Nashville area - Location and Broadcasting Range
W26ET-D (3.0) -> W11DY-D (3.0) - changing from channel 26 to 11 and moving from the Chattanooga area to the Murfreesboro area - Location and Broadcasting Range
WJNK-LD (3.0) - changing from 34 to 12 and changing from omnidirectional antenna to a directional one aiming southward toward Franklin, TN - Location and Broadcasting Range
W26FM-D -> W08ET-D - changing from 26 to 8 and moving from the Glasgow, KY area to Nashville area - Location and Broadcasting Range - (owned by the same as WRTN 6)
Also, there are two other changes that I won't go into because they haven't been granted yet. These I have mentioned above have already been granted, meaning they could change any time in the next three years (Not anytime soon though). About any interference between W22FQ and either WCTE in Cookeville or WCKV in Clarksville, I can't tell you exactly what will happen. The ones that are on the move, they may move again after a while. This current move may be just a stepping stone. Well, until more news breaks, that's all for now.
