I seen this coming months ago on the satellite backhaul. They changed the name of Defy to ION Plus.

I really wish they would find a way to move WNPX to the WTVF tower for a bigger reach, or I’d be happy if they found a way to put ION on 5-3 and Scripps News on 5-4 so more people can watch it over the air. I can’t get WNPX from my home.

I was wondering why I woke up to see Defy on 40.2 so I investigated. According to Wikipedia, Free TV Networks (who run The365 and Outlaw) purchased the "Defy" branding just before the announced "Dare" launch, so Defy essentially died and got resurrected simultaneously.

For anyone that can help me out. If you can contact Gray Television about adding Defy TV to WTNX. I can no longer get Defy TV at all and I wonder if they are thinking of adding it to WTNX and its repeators.

I lost Defy because my 40.2 is in Bowling Green.

I can’t figure out how to do anything but reply to posts on here….but has anyone lost all of the 27 series channels in Nashville? I usually watch every night the Heartland tv channel…but they are all gone and was curious if anyone else was having the same issue?

WWHL might be at a lower power than usual. It was picked up by an antenna last night near Franklin, TN.

I contacted the engineer about adding Defy TV to WTNX and its repeaters and the answer was no. There are too many affiliates already in Nashville. Next I went to WBKO in Bowling Green and I asked the program director about adding Defy TV to it and I'll call back in a few days to ask again for it. Update: WBKO said not at this time.
