Congratulations Bob Mueller on 40 Years!

Usually, I just post about the Nashville TV signals and what is happening in the Nashville airwaves, but I thought I would take this moment to congratulate Bob Mueller on a stellar 40 years at WKRN News 2. As long as I can remember he has been the face of News 2. Almost every evening you could turn it over on News 2, and you would see him at the anchor desk. I have seen the videos that are on the WKRN website, which you can click here to see a video of many different people that you may recognize congratulating and remembering him throughout the years. I would like to thank him for many years of serving not only Nashville, but everyone in Middle TN and South Central KY, and I hope for many more years of seeing him on News 2.

I remember when he first started at the station. He was the Capitol Hill beat reporter. Nobody else, then and now, has the pulse on Tennessee politics like Mueller has. Who you see on TV and who you see out and about are the same. He's the real deal. You don't see many on-air personalities with long runs at TV stations anymore. Whenever he decides to call it quits, the local TV market will lose a true broadcasting legend.

Congratulations to Bob. I could be mistaken, but I think that Vicky Yates is at the top of the seniority list at WTVF; a little ahead of Lelan Statom, and I believe that I heard that Davis Nolan at WSMV is right up there with Mueller.
