Circle Network Going Away

- Posted November 11th, 2023 at 5:47pm
I just found out the Circle Network (locally airing on WSMV 4.5) is going off the air on Dec. 31st in order to make room for the two networks coming Jan. 1st. The article, which is linked below, says that some of the programming will still live on. It will be redistributed somewhere else. Until more news breaks, that's all for now.

Just seen that Circle is going away on another forum. Hopefully the content will be worth watching as a result of Circle shutting down.

What a shame. One of the few OTA subchannels I would go to in order to see good original content. Sounds like the replacement channels will just be more of the same old same old.

I knew it was over when Hunter reruns were added to the schedule. A network always leaves its original programming format when they can’t make money.

My in-laws have moved temporarily into assisted living and their TV option is OTA. My father-in-law is frustrated with it because he’s not used to it and would really like a printed guide. But I can’t find such a thing! Anyone know of one, or if one of the TV log websites is print-friendly enough so I can put one together for him?

Give tvpassport.com or www.ontvtonight.com/guide/ a try.
