Article about the New Transmitter at WSMV

There was an online article about WSMV's new transmitter that I found interesting. I didn't know if anybody else would as well or not, but I've linked it below if anybody wanted to read it.

I did find the article interesting. But I would also like a follow up article about why WSMV is so much harder to pick up now in various parts of the greater Nashville area.

My signal relationship with WSMV is an odd one. It's the most stable, and easy to pick up in McMinnville, TN. But NOT at night. I lose it, and WTVF at night. I wish WKRN would do something about their signal. I know I sound like a broken record at this point. But I can't get them but for minutes a day now. Antenna, coax, and tuner are all good. I just cannot receive them anymore. I've stopped thinking it's their signal as far as a change from their transmitter. For this article. I think it's great they're upgrading. Hopefully they'll join ATSC 3.0 soon as well.

Do you use a signal amplifier?
