WZTV and WCTE 3.0 News

- Posted April 7th, 2022 at 5:16pm
I've emailed the WZTV engineer, but I've not heard back yet. So, as far as I know right now, I believe they maybe running on either an auxiliary transmitter or running at lower power on their current transmitter. Once I hear anything, I will post it.

Also, thanks to xmguy for showing me this article. I have already posted about the owner of WCTE buying W35DZ and saying that they may use it as a 3.0 station for WCTE. Well, per the below article, that's what they will be doing. Something that this article says that I didn't know was that they will have the 3.0 station up and running by the end of this July. I am posting the article below so you can read it for yourself. Until more news breaks, that's all for now.

Excellent article. Good to see that Cookeville will benefit from not only NextGen TV service, but also other technology services that NextGen is capable of.

I got to add that channel 9 in Nashville changed callsign name from w09dm to WNSH-LD. I seen the change on RabbitEars. https://rabbitears.info/market.php?request=station_search&callsign=Wnsh-ld
