W09DM and W15ER are On the Air

- Posted October 16th, 2021 at 2:00pm
I have found out that both channels 9 and 15 are now on the air. I have no idea what they are broadcasting, but they have two channels each. If anyone is able to receive them, let me know what they are broadcasting. Until more news breaks, that's all for now.

Both channels are broadcasting the same program. Right now the second subchannel is dark. I can't figure out what W09DM and W15ER is programing on their first subchannel. It appears to be something called Lighthouse TV, but I am not sure. They have been interviewing talk show hosts. I will look at it later and see if the programing changes.

Thank you. Let me know if it changes at all.

I have glanced it it some all day. They seem to be repeating the same thing every few hours. The only 2 programs I have seen is: "Joe Watkins State of Independence" and "Face The Issues" plus some gospel songs. I'm wondering if this is just a filler until they get their programing set up.

Thank you for doing that and letting me know. That is probably what it is, a filler, as the new owner of W15ER hasn't taken it over yet. They are waiting on the FCC to grant their transfer.

I checked back on these channels this week. W09DM and W15ER is broadcasting Watchman Broadcasting on 9.1 and 15.1. It is identified as WBPI and is rebroadcasting their programing. Subchannel 9.2 and 15.2 is identified as WPBH and is "Lighthouse TV". They have added two more subchannels in the last week or two. Subchannel 9.3 and 15.3 is identified as RightNW and has no programing right now. Subchannel 9.4 and 15.4 is identified as FunRoad and had no programing until today. I am not sure what this channel is about as it just came on the air tonight. It is showing "Expedition Texas" right now.

Thanks so much for this information. I appreciate it. Just curious. What area are you located? How close are you to Nashville?

I'm located on the north side of Gallatin. I only use an indoor antenna here. I get all of the Nashville low powered stations here except WIIW and WRTN. Channel 34 and 9 only come in part time but I don't need them. I go elsewhere in Gallatin to check out what's on WRTN. I'm wondering if 15.3 will be the new home of Right Now TV since it's no longer on WJDE.

9.3 and 15.3 have Right Now TV on them now. The channel appeared around 6PM today.

Again, thank you for the information. Keep me updated if anything else changes. With me being about 55-60 miles from Nashville, I received W15ER only one time when the signals from Nashville were enhanced. Maybe I will be able to receive it again sometime soon.

The website for Fun Roads is https://funroads.tv/ It seems like there will be a lot of programming about travel.

Hello All, I thought I would mention WJDE 31 seems to have increased their power output the past week or so.......I have a fringe antenna on a rotor aimed at WJDE (23rf) in south Nashville almost to the Rutherford county line.....I was consistently only getting around 52% level on my box....for the past week It is bumping 60% consistently...so it may benefit to re-scan for those who had difficulty picking that station up before.... All 13 subchannels! This is a great website! Mike

First, I would like to say thank you for the kind words, and second, actually, WJDE broadcasts from downtown Nashville on top of the L&C tower building. Have you tried pointing towards downtown? If you have, did you see any improvement with WJDE?

I may be wrong but I thought WJDE left downtown and moved to the White Creek area where a lot of other broadcasters are when they increased their power.

I'm sorry, you're right. I had forgotten that. Now that I think about it, they actually did not move to Whites Creek area. They moved to the intersection of Dickerson Pike, I-65, and Briley Pkwy. on a very short tower. If they moved to the Whites Creek area at those towers, I probably wouldn't have a problem picking them up from there. Again, sorry about that.
